Wedding in Oxford

Posted on May 21, 2012

This Wedding in Oxford was great fun… having already met the Bride & Groom when I photographed Rhona & Nick’s Wedding at Chiddingstone Castle, Kate & Mark already knew the kind of photography they were looking for on their Wedding Day. I must mention that the vicar on the day was the nicest I have met yet, while highlighting the importance and commitment of marriage, he maintained a great sense of humour, finding time during the service to lighten the mood a little with a few Paddy and Murphy tales (his Father was a professional Wedding Photographer) from his childhood growing up in Ireland when he recalled being dragged to Weddings every weekend helping to carry all the heavy equipment that was necessary then. He therefore also appreciated the importance of Wedding Photography during a church service.

With great company, fine food and a fantastic band to see us through the night, I am sure like me, everyone had a great time at this village wedding in rural Oxford.

Great set of images. My favourites are the bride in church with the guitar player and the last dancing shot; she looks so happy. Fantastic as always
